For the past week things haven't necessarily been growing fast, there's definitely been a lot to do. We've been shooting and editing several videos for promoting our company, our products and our ethos. We've been coming up with new product ideas, producing prototypes of these ideas and working on our sales technique.
At times, it can be really difficult to stay positive when things don't immediately start happening at a lightning pace, and it is easy to fall into a negative mindset, to question the depth of your ideas, the quality of the outcome, and the skill of your hands. This is not good for productivity, what I have been forced to learn is that there is no time to sit and watch for reactions or conversions when a new product goes up, or when picture/video is posted. This isn't to say that one shouldn't have pride in their work and enjoy their success. A friend of mine would define his business (making brilliant art from vinyl records) as "my bipolar business", which is exactly how it feels. What he taught me is to ride the wave, so to speak, to enjoy the positive outcomes and to work through the negatives while looking for something positive to take from them.
So here I sit, riding the wave, and simultaneously looking towards the horizon. I'm not waiting for success to find me, I am seeking it out, through actions and I am sticking to the ideas that I love.
